Expectations
You are expected to:
Come to school and be in class on time
Be polite and use common sense (engage the brain prior to engaging the mouth)
Open your ears and close your mouth when the instructor is speaking
Raise your hand to ask a question or add comment
Comply with the student dress code, student code of conduct and other applicable school regulations
Participate, and make an honest effort in all your classes
Be respectful of all the teachers and staff
Wear the uniform with pride per the Cadet Field Manual
Show respect to the United States of America and the National Ensign by taking the lead and being the first person to stand in whichever class you are in and recite the Pledge of Allegiance in a clear and respectful tone, even if you are the only person in that class that has the character to do so.
Make academic achievement and graduation your first priority
Do your home work and study for exams
Abstain from abusing substances
Never chew gum in NJROTC portables
Facial, tongue, and ear piercings (except for female ear piercings) are not authorized in the NJROTC portables, or while in uniform or while participating in any NJROTC activity.
Junior cadets will listen to and follow the directions given to them from more senior cadets.
